A new leadership team at Rio Hotels & Casinos in Las Vegas has been announced by DreamScape Company.
DreamScape’s new leadership team is responsible for managing the redevelopment, operations, finance, marketing, gaming and entertainment aspects of hotels and casinos. They will take over the operation this October.

The new team consists of Trevor Scherrer, Janice Fitzpatrick, Tom Evans, Kevin Sweet and Don Purdue.
Scherrer, president of gaming and entertainment, has worked in the gaming and hospitality industry for more than 30 years in the Las Vegas market. Recently Scherrer worked as a resort development advisor on the opening team of Resort World Las Vegas.
Meanwhile, CFO Fitzpatrick has more than 40 years of financial experience in domestic and international gaming and hospitality. Fitzpatrick will oversee the entire financial operations of the Rio Hotel and Casino. Fitzpatrick has previously overseen financial operations at several high-profile hotels.
In addition to overseeing CityCenter’s pre- and post-marketing campaigns, Evans was instrumental in launching more than 10 hotels and casinos across the country, including Las Vegas’ Bellagio and Aria resorts.
The chief gaming officer, Sweet, has worked in the premium gaming industry for more than 15 years. Sweet was previously Cosmopolitan Vice President of Las Vegas Slot Operations and Marketing.
Finally, Don Purdue, vice president of construction and development services, has worked in real estate development and construction for 35 years.
