Joo-ri Jeong reached the top in the first competition of the 2024 season of the Dream Tour, the second division tour of the Korea Ladies Professional Golf (KLPGA).
Ju-ri Jeong recorded 4 birdies and 2 bogeys in the final 3rd round of the first round of the Yellow Chicken Q Capital Partners Dream Challenge (total prize money of 100 million won) held at Teddy Valley Golf & Resort (par 72, 6,685 yards) in Seogwipo, Jeju Island on the 10th, reaching 2 under par. I hit 70.
Jeong Joo-ri, who tied with Kang Jeong-hyun and Son Yeon-jeong with a final total of 4 under par 212, confirmed her win after the second overtime.
In the first overtime, Kang Jeong-hyun made a bogey and was eliminated first, and in the second overtime, Jeong Ju-ri made a birdie to beat Son Yeon-jeong, who only made par.
Joo-ri Jeong, a former member of the national team, held the first Dream Tour trophy in her arms. His winning prize is 15 million won.
Jeong Ju-ri, who has experience playing on the regular tour in the 2022 season, said, “I will do my best with the goal of winning one more time and finishing this season in the top 10 in money rankings to return to the regular tour.”
