Professional basketball team Seoul SK extended its winning streak to six games against Suwon KT in the telecommunications rivalry.

SK defeated KT 102-87 in the 2023-2024 regular season of the Korean Basketball Organization (KOB) at the KT Arena in Suwon, Gyeonggi-do, on Nov. 18.

With its latest two-game winning streak, SK moved into third place with a 6-4 record. KT and Changwon LG are also tied for third with six wins and four losses.

The game was highlighted by the return of players returning from military service, including KT’s Heo Hoon and SK’s Ahn Young-jun.

KT’s Heo Hoon had 26 points, four assists, and three steals, outperforming Ahn Young-jun’s 16 points, but he had to hang his head in shame after losing the game.

Tied 47-47 at halftime, the two teams began to pull away in the third quarter, with SK’s Oh Se-geun and Jamil Warney leading the offense with nine points apiece.

Warney (26 points, 14 rebounds) and Oh Se-geun (20 points, 11 rebounds) both recorded double-doubles for SK on the night, while Heo Il-young added 20 points, including four three-pointers.

KT, which was looking to extend its home winning streak to four games and its recent six-game winning streak, was led by Heo, but was disappointed that Moon Sung-gon, playing in his first regular-season game since joining KT, was held scoreless after playing 22 minutes and 38 seconds.

SK also won the rebounding battle, outrebounding KT 44-26.

In Ulsan, Hyundai Mobis edged Daegu KOGAS 81-80 in overtime.

Hyundai Mobis, which recently snapped a three-game losing streak, extended its winning streak to eight games against KOGAS. Prim, who hit the game-winning three-pointer, led the way with 41 points and 14 rebounds.
